Oh ... please don't think badly of my Marc not helping. Two people couldn't have done it ... he stayed on alert if I needed anything to help with the task. |
Yes I am glad that I asked(Teehee) and I do not think badly of Marc because My hubby would have been doing what you did and I would have had your hubby's job.

There would have been no way they could have stood giving me a ticket ... I probably would have gotten an escort home with Lights and Sirens! _________________ Mary and Ebbe,

My hubby Bruce found this forum and forwarded it to me....at that time we had Raleigh for only a few days....I 'lurked' for only a little bit, then shyly jumped in! As I've said in other posts...this forum is ADDICTIVE!, but the support, laughter, tears here with all of you are unparalled!

I'd been researching all things Doodle for quite some time. I'm actually surprised at how much I've enjoyed all the stuff I've picked up on genes!
Anyway, once I finally decided this was a path I wanted to go down, I didn't hesitate at all in jumping into this site with both feet. I'd read a lot of the older posts, got a feel for the members, and felt secure that I had landed in a good place.
I'm still a bit of a newbie, here less than 2 months so far... but as most of you know, I'm not afraid to ask what I need to know, or tell what's going on in my doggy world, so my post count is rising steadily.
I seriously wish I'd have had a site like this when I was breeding Shepherds. It's an enormous help to have people who've btdt to turn to when I get lost. _________________ www.tinkerdoodle.net

I remember shortly after joining this forum...Max got really sick with severe diarrhea. Everyone here was soooooooo supportive and we all learned more of bland food diets and digestive enzymes and so on
The support was tremendous as max went thru 7 weeks of not digesting food then we had peanut in ICU for 3 days.......once againt the support was TREMENDOUS!!!
and later on we also got to laughing about things as i tend to make jokes when under high stress seeing something funny to laugh about.
This forum is like a family with concern, support, TEASING people with dirty blonde hair, creative, informative, loving and just FANTASTIC !!!!
and also after seeing much artwork and more....i will say very talented too! _________________ Annmarie, Max,& Peanut

Maybe you should have taken care of that while bathing the two doods together! _________________ gene , jonah , miko and rumor

A Poem.
For the Forum Lurkers.
Once upon a time,
on the doodle forum,
I did lurk.
Mind you, I wasn't being a jerk.
I just didn't realize there were perks.
The replies come easily,
and it hasn't been much work,
Particularly because,
the forum members are such quirks!
Now, to keep them all from telling me:
"You're totally Beserk!!"
(I'm a Procrastinator at work today: I'm saving stuff to do for tomorrow! ROFL!!!!...i.e. procrastinators of today are our leaders of tomorrow!!!) _________________ REASON #50, "Why I love my doodle so": My doodle teaches ME new things EVERY day! |

I lurked for about a week then joined right in. Basically because I needed info on Doodles. I'm an expectant mommy without the morning sickness. My doodle should be born next summer. Can you tell I'm alittle obssessive-compulsive? Anyway ya'll were wonderful. I stay because of all the laughs I get The story about Ebbe was GREAT!! Been there done that My husband doesn't help with that stuff either. But he would also have run back into the house and said take care of the dog later after the car. He has a very weak stomach!! |

I was a lurker for about a month.
I read through the various threads about once or twice a week. I loved the pics and kept coming back more and more often to read up on all the cute doodle adventures.
Then one day I just decided to join in on the fun.
I've already benefited by getting lots of great advice on the socialization issue.
And I still love seeing all the pics and sharing a few as well! _________________ Winderdoodle & Noodle the Doodle |

Yes I was a lurker for a few weeks before I joined. We just adopted a labradoodle from Idog and couldn't be happier!
Her name is Ella and she has adjusted very well to her new family.
This forum is really helpful. |
