Doodledo's and dues for doodle parents

I am sitting down finally.
Made MOM"s homecooked meals for 2 doodle puppies, put DAVE's boot back for the 3rd time, replugged my computer 2 times, sipping lukewarm to almost cold coffee, have said NO, good peanut, max then give toy, repeat process in 3 minutes-- about 10 times, retype the same sentence 5 times and forget what i was typing...spent 1/2hour playing with my babies BEFORE sitting down, did the human ice scultpure during 3 potty walks....this is all within less than 2 hours.

Then i wonder why i lost 6lbs in 2 weeks hahhhaha forget the atkins diet, just get a 2nd puppy...speeds the metabolism up almost immediately.
Teach your body to go on 6hrs or less of sleep and learn to take power naps while YOUR dinner and theirs is cooking. Always scan WalMart and Sam's club for new doggy beds.
Carry around a huge DUCKY stuffed animal to each room you go into and pray no neighbors walk in unannounced and that your fiance doesn't take your picture!

In between this run and put wash on, load dishwasher, ignore ringing phones as if it's important they'll leave a message or call back later.
plan day around crate times if needing to run errands on day off from work.

Play referee with 11 wks 15lb stinker and 7.5mo old 50lb clown with too many quarters inserted into him. Rolling Eyes
Do NOT give ONE big bully stick for 2 doodles to share!! uh uh brawls can erupt in under a minute. Scan one black and one cream blur rolling and jumping every 2 minutes , remembering keep your eyeglasses on as you're blind as a bat without them. Ignore sounds of clicking teeth...teeth are strong and don't break easily.
Reheat coffee a 3rd time. Realize you haven't had breakfast and maybe that's why their gourmet homecooked food looked so good and almost made you want to make yourself a bowl too but felt guiltyi doing this. And this is is after you actually justified the nutrional content for yourself. Let's see: sweet pot, trout, venison, chicken, pumpkin, cot cheese, pineapple, rice, and water....yup sounds healthy to me. Maybe i'll make some for dinner tonight for us humans as it is healthy. Wink Smile

Lastly, when 2 doodles finally settle down and start to doze you cannot move as their little movement antennaes go off and that 2 minute nap has recharged them for at least 2 or 3more hours. Needless to say, you now have 2 shadows following your every step inbetween your legs.

Then end up laughing hahahhaaa going know what? i wouldn't change a thing!!!! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy As i realize that one doodledoo and one deedledum give me a ton of love and laughter each and every day!

I was just sitting here reading and realized I've had the same morning, only with half the doodle. I did two ice sculpture potty runs. Ran into the garbage truck backing up to the dumpster and had to convince a very aggravated doodle that the truck wasn't going to eat mommy. Got the food bowl full with only half a cup dropped on the floor due to a blonde muzzle in the bag. Am having my second cup of luke cold coffee. Had a doodle try to convince me that the pillow was actually chewing him, not vice versa. Told him "no, no, daddy's sleeping!" 10 times. And am now trying to type while referreeing a kickboxing match between cat and doodle.

Ahhh, AnnMarie, it's posts like these that soothe my inner beast that thinks it wants another doodle, LOL.

Those little angels...I think you're making all that craziness up...they look as sweet as can be.
(oh, alright, I do see some itty-bitty horns poking out of their heads.)

Kim i wonder if peanut is going to look like Barkley on sesame street?

I ,Annmarie, out in the open Doodleaholic, hereby INVITE each and every ONE of you other doodleaholics to come visit my household for 1-3days.
(not at the same time though)

Meals will be provided and customized to YOUR dietary needs. Good beds for sleeping are for the asking. Towels, hot baths, and 3 comfy cozy couches with ottomans and serveral oversized chairs are available 24/4. Most are leather but there is a few cloth ones too. There is surround sound in the living room with over 300 movies. Also there are 3 sitting rooms for relaxing and reading and both have fishtanks for additional relaxation. I am NOT responsible though for any doodle running over your feet, trying to read the paper with you, or any other tactic they may use to relax with you at the time.

YOu will not be required to do anything OTHER THAN help housetrain a 11wk old devilish yet cute puppy AND see how her horns peek out every so often.

NOW, the bigger black 50lber puppy is still going through learning how to stop taking all the toys away from the other one as sharing means SHARING the TOY he wants to play with at the time while having 1-3 other toys are under his paws and belly for safekeeping. If you think you can teach him how to share 24/7...be my guest!!

WE do not expect company to walk any doodles between the hours of 8pm and 10am as your rest is needed to maintain good humor at all times. YOU are however expected to occupy them while i have ONE cup of hot coffee sometime before 12noon.

Lastly, you are allowed to use all facilities at will. there's 3 full baths, laundryroom...oh yeah snowblower if you get too restless and need something to do.
Do not rent a car as I have a 2nd vehicle for your pleasurable use.

Just PM me for my phone number, directions and/or flight schedules to Rochester NY.

Final word: i do cook and bake alot. Diets are really not allowed in my house except ones due to food allergies or poopie issues.

remember MI CASA SU CASA so make yourself at home.

NOW any takers??? or you are you all yelllow belly chickens????

fine print:
I am not responsible if you die of laughter, lose your sanity, misplace your socks, and/or want to leave earlier than planned.

finer print:
if you can read this you then you aren't old enough to visit

As my mother used to say..."Never go any where on vacation that you can't stay with friends or family"!! I just want to know why we can;t all come at once. We could have a big doodle slumber party and pretend that we are all as young as we feel inside!! We could all wear sweat pants and granny underwear, right Dexter's mommy??
Embarassed

I agree with Gene, why can't we all visit at the same time, would that not be a riot and with all our dogs? Unfortunately being a Canadian apparently now I need a passport that takes forever at this time as the lineups are ridiculous and also Denver would probably have to go into quarantine or something so I will have to live vicariously through you all but thanks for the invite. For what it is worth I too can read the fine print.
Getting dentures soon but the eyes are good. Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing
