Dexter was so happy...due to our ice/snow storm we "had" to work from home today. It's so funny to watch him - I realized he really does sleep most of the day (so maybe I'll feel a bit less guilty about leaving him alone). We had some fun playtime in the snow this afternoon (he really loves it!!). We also decided to expand his space for while we're at work (he's been really good lately...we'll start with 1/4 of the basement for now to make sure he doesn't decide to have any accidents on the rug). I wish I could justify working from home more often!!

Dexter,
Freedom is great! you gotta make sure you behave, or it gets taken away...or so Dad threatens. I had a great time in the snow today. Dad shoveled the drive...he wasn't happy. I tried to help by biting the shovel and jumping in piles of snow as he was making them! This too didn't thrill him. When we come in he makes me stand on the mat while he takes the snowballs out of my paws....hey, I was planning on eating those, that's why I brought them in. I've spent the evening sleeping on the couch, saving up my energy for our road trip saturday to get Miko. New sister and new toys!!

If you're real good, maybe mom will get you a brother or sister!

Haha...Dexter had such BAD snowballs in his paws yesterday, we were forced to bring him in and thaw him out.

Don't even start about a brother/sister for Dex, my husband is saying for the same thing!!
