I think it just may be the best day of my life since having my kids.....Calvin and Lizzie are home now!!!! I got a call about 20 minutes ago and went to get them. They were a few miles away at a construction site. When I picked them up, they acted like it was no big deal. Didn't even miss me, I think.
I cannot tell you all how much your thoughts, prayers and simple words of support helped me in these last few LONG days. Total strangers! You are an unbelievable bunch! Thanks especially to Shannon who used her many connections to get the word out! I will never be able to repay you!
A happy, happy ending.....Now I need to go give the filthy beasts a bath!

I am so glad you found your Calvin and Lizzie. Although I have not said anything till now, I have been watching the posts and thinking of you.
We went through a similar trauma just before Christmas when our 16 and half year old Spring Spaniel went walk about on a cold snowy night. She didn't have any tags on because she doesn't like them and never leaves the yard now (except when someone forgets to close a gate obviously). At any rate, she was found up to her shoulders in a snow bank, more confused than usual and ended up spending the night in the pound because we couldn't get an answer at the pound and they had no way of knowing who she belonged to.
It was only one sleepless night with knots in our stomachs so I can only imagine how you all must have felt over the last few days. _________________ Kathryn

Leslie, I am so happy for you and your family!! Sometimes dogs are worse than kids, because they can't call when they get lost! I'm so glad they are home and safe. Now we all can quit worrying/crying! _________________ gene , jonah , miko and rumor

Leslie, I was so happy to see your email. It made my day. Now keep them home, and don't let them out of your sight again. Hey, at least they stayed together!! Relax, and enjoy the rest of your days off. _________________ Shannon - Phantom, Star, Fozzie & Roni
