Thanks to everyone who has helped us find our perfect doodle, especially Shannon who went above and beyond answering my many, many emails!

We think we've found our doodle in Ohio. We are making the trip down tomorrow (Saturday 10/2Cool to get him. His name is Buddster according to the shelter. We're going to shorten it and call him Bud.

We are so excited....going shopping tonight to get everythign we need...any suggestions on "Must haves" for doodles?

Thanks!
Michelle

Lots to chew on, kongs are great you can put peanut butter in them and freeze them. They love to chew on them plus the cold feels good when they are teething. Share some photo when you get them and Congratualtions

HI I have a 4mo old labradoodle. I find the teething Kong, a large soft beanie baby)TY without beans in it is great and a rubber teething ring too.

Our Max loves to chew his TOYS...watch out for tennis balls and toys with squeakers!!! he can chew a hole in tennis balls in minutes and finds the squeakers inside them, chewing until he gets them out.

While these are great pets to have not all petstore toys are safe. Just like a small child they need to be watched especially since each one has a unique personality.
Large soda /hawaiian punch bottles (1-2liter) are Max's favorite toy!! I take the label off and cap too, then try to ignore the loud noise it makes as he has soooooooo much fun and we laugh so hard Laughing

hey Michelle, have I welcomed you before? Did I mention I grew up in mid-Michigan? Wink Specifically Shiawassee County.

I have found really good bargains -and now they have FREE SHIPPING on orders over $50 which is also a sweet savings- at www.petsuppliesdelivered.com and we BOTH get a $5 discount if you give them my customer number in the notes section of the checkout page: #14320824

This isn't a website super-store, but prices are fair and the service is GREAT! Nobody has cheaper latex chew-toys for puppies.

hope this helps! And congratus on finding your perfect Doodle!
