Just had to add a pic of my girl, Murphy who is 9 months old and loves to sneak any type of bread off the kitchen counter or out of the trunk of the car before we can get all the groceries in. |

Murphy looks a bit like our Archie and Lisa's Toby. I'm pretty sure Archie was given the wrong sized tongue. Its always hanging out of the side of his mouth. I think somewhere there is a really huge LD with a tiny tongue. _________________ Annette

Our Murphy is from HickoryDoodles in Southern Indiana. We thought Murphy was a perfect name for him, he just looks it! We like to believe we are part Irish and there is an Irish beer named Red Murphy and it is the color of his fur, and he is a little crazy like the Irish! Why did you decided on Murphy? _________________ Colorredathome |

Toby and Archie are from Hickorydoodles also!!!! They were born 3/31/06. When I picked up Toby (Sully) I also looked at one of the puppies from Murphy's litter, I believe it was Hayden. He was just too sedate to survive life with Lan! What was Murphy's HD name? I tend to check out the site to see what is happening and saw many of the photos from his litter.
I also have another from Hickorydoodles. Lani was born 12/25/05. Chocolate is my favorite, but since we got Toby, cream is also! How cool! I would love to hear more about Murphy and see more pictures! You can check our link below to see my two doodles. _________________ Lisa, Lani and Toby

Well we have an Irish last name and we picked him up on March 15 almost St. Pats day. Plus we thought he looked like a Murphy too. He has alot of red on him!!! We had decided that if we got a female her name would have been Maggie!! _________________ Jamie

Lisa,
Murphy was Hudson...it was love at first sight. Both my son and daughter picked him out first. Hayden was still there when we took Hudson AKA Murphy home with us, but she said he was going to a home the next day.
We are leaving to pick him up from the vet in about an hour. He had, as my daughter is calling it, his puppy surgery today. The vet called me and told me that everything went well. I can't wait to hold him and love on him some...it's been lonely in the house today without my pony ( that's what my husband calls him because he is so big!) following me around! _________________ Colorredathome |

Colorredathome, Murphy is beautiful. My daughter looked at he pictures and said we should have taken Hayden, mind you she picked out Toby and she loves him, she really likes the look of Murphy. We have been sp happy with our puppies it is great to hear from another HD owner. I hear from the mom of one of Lani's litter mates. It is fun to compare notes. _________________ Lisa, Lani and Toby

Is Toby's tail starting to fan out and get floofy?(I believe floofy is a technical tail term). Archie walks next to Chester and you can see these 2 floofy tails wagging like crazy. I love it. _________________ Annette

Annette, the hair on his tail is fanning out but not like Lani's yetthe hair is definately getting longer (all over his body also). He is all legs, he got the poodle legs, Lani got the short lab legs. He is 50 lbs. I sent Julie andemail asking how big his parents are, curious to see how close he wiil get in size. Are you going on Sunday? We are. _________________ Lisa, Lani and Toby

My Molly jumps when we are filling the food bowls. She goes straight up with all four paws off the floor like she has springs in her legs. She also talks for her food, sort of a deep woooo.
Doodles are hilarious, I am so glad we got her. |
