My Jorja is suppose to be a mini, 18 lb. poodle daddy and a small lab mommy. She's almost 5.5 months old now and weighs 20 lbs. Her legs are fairly long so I think she'll get a little taller and fill out some more. The breeder thought she would be between 20 and 25 lbs.

I don't know anything about Dora parents. She was very sick when I got her a lot of you remember the time we had getting her back on track. Dora is a little over 5 months now and she i s 29 pounds. The vet said that she would be around 45 pounds full grown. I do remember that she was like 14 pounds at a little over 3 months and then almost doubled her weight at 5 months. She eats eukanuba. That is what she was on at the pet store and the vet said that it was good food. Since she broke her tooth and lost baby teeth, I got some of the bits and gravy to put in her food to soften it up. That helped a lot with her eating for a while.

I have a F1B? I think I do...I wrote to the breeder, and his mother was a 60LB Labradoodle, and his father was a "Over 70lb" Full Poodle.

The bottom line is...Benji is huge. He's just over 8 months old, and already 81 lbs. We've been feeding him "Large Breed Puppy" food consistently to make sure he DOESN'T grow too fast, but apparantly, it had little effect Wink. He's got a great personality though...

Does anyone know what the LIMIT is on Labradoodles? How big can they get?

Wow - you do have a big guy! We have an 8th month old as well, and she is probably around 52-54 pounds right now. I have heard of some labradoodles becoming very large though.

More to love!

I know some doodles can get up to 100+ lbs.
You'll just have to wait and see! Smile

Hey Boomer490...I saw your photo site, and you have a lookalike shot of benji in the snow. Here's Benji's from Decemember. He was only a little over 2 months old here.

Hi CharlieDoodle, my doodle is 3 1/2 mos old and weighs 19 lbs. Kelly is right about Science Diet. My vet sells it and I tried feeding my dogs SD for about 6 mos and I hated it. They did not do well on it at all, I would definately shop around for a better food Smile

Hi dixiedi! My doodle, Bella is 3 1/2 months old and 19 pounds, too! Laughing
She was born March 17th. We adopted her from a rescue group, so I do not know how big she will get. Have you been given any estimates? The rescue group said her Mom was a Lab and her dad was a miniature poodle and they were guessing no more than 40 pounds. Does this sound right to anyone who knows?
And I am feeding Wellness food and she loves it. It is highly rated by the dog food site and is fit for human consumption Smile The Kirkland (Costco) brand looks awesome at a very good price, so I may switch over down the road a bit.

Hi Linda, welcome to the forum Smile My Archie was born March 26th, he is an Australian Multi-gen Labradoodle, 5th generation and he is awesome Smile
They say to predict the adult weight of your puppy, double their weight at 16 wks, plus or minus 5 lbs. So if this is true, our pups should be right around 40-45 lbs when grown, which is great by me Very Happy Very Happy I'll be anxious to see if it works. I've never tried this formula with any of my other dogs.

If you are feeding Wellness and Bella loves it and is doing good on it, I wouldn't change. I've heard nothing but positive things about Wellness.

Have fun with Bella Wink

Benji is ADORABLE!!!!! Welcome to the forum by the way Wink I just want to add, I would take Benji off of the puppy food and put him on adult food now. It is not good for a fast growing puppy to eat puppy food for a full year, 5 to 6 mos is all you need to feed puppy food for Smile
