Shampoo shopping...so many choices.... Has anyone found a shampoo they can recommend - that they love for a doodle coat? One to help keep it shiny, soft, ect.... |

I believe Diane (or maybe Linda) recommended the Green Tea and Mint shampoo from PetEdge. I tried it and really liked it. The scent is clean but not flowery (some may not like the scent, so you'd probably want to buy a small bottle first) and you can buy in gallons! It sounds expensive, but when you compare that to the pet store types, its a great deal too...they also have many varieties of shampoos and conditioners to choose from.

I believe most of the gallons you delute also itis concetrated so a gallon for the average person is going to last a long time. I use the Fresh Pet from pet and love the smell it stays with them a long time. But the green tea I also hear is great. Pet Edge has a lot of varities so be ready to make a decision when you order. _________________ Linda & Gracielou

My absolute favorite is called "Buddy Wash" by a tiny company called Cloud star in Oregon. I found it at a little local pet shop, but I was at one of the big box stores yesterday and they had it too! It's a lavendar-mint scent that makes the whole house smell clean and wonderful. I especially love their spray-on conditioner called "Buddy Splash" that I use almost every night. You just spray it on and brush it in and it makes the coat really soft and shiny. Also, as weird as it sounds, I think the scent is calming, so when my doods get really wound up I'll spray this on them and they really get mellow. And so do I! _________________ Lisa and George and Gracie
