Hi all,
I'm thinking of getting a mini labradoodle and have a question regarding what to do when you work all day.
I live in an 800sq ft condo...with a cat. I typically leave home at 7:15am and get home around 5:30pm. If I walk the lab in the morning and take him out when I get home, will this be okay? I hate the idea of leaving him alone all day but I have no choice. I hear they can develop destructive tendencies if left alone too long? Having someone come in around noon is possible for a little while for a few months is possible but after that he would be all alone.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

I hate to say it, but I think alone all day is too much for a puppy. However I know lots of older dogs who do just fine with it. Have you considered getting a grown up doodle? _________________ Lisa and George and Gracie

Outside of a dog, a book is your best friend, and inside of a dog, it's too dark to read.

Look into Doggy daycare also that might fit into your needs. _________________ Linda & Gracielou
