Did anyone have a puppy that kind of looks like him that is an adult now? I am curious as to what he will look like as an adult. He has gotten some more hair around his face and its getting longer in back. I hope he is thick and fluffy! He is doing well. I did have to get a cage. We had a major pooh accident in the hallway that trailed through the house while we were sleeping because I thought he would let me know if he had to go and wake me up on his own (what was I thinking ). Luckily we have a carpet cleaner, but it took me a few hours to clean. He is doing well in the crate with house breaking. He goes straight outside and does the business and gets a biscuit everytime he goes and comes inside.[/img |

Floyd is a perfect name for him. I love it.
He looks a bit like Chester at that age. There are pictures of him in the Chesterpal Gallery. The most recent one is where he is curled up on the sofa. Chester will be 2 in June. |

He is a cutie! Thanks for the picture...sounds like you are doing very well with him and the training, except of course the one major accident. Ah, well...that happens sometimes.
His coat could thicken and curl a bit, but don't be surprised if he retains the Lab look...which is really great! (He will most likely shed, though...) _________________ jacque.bayley.lexie.chase.rosie.nitos.amelia.dupree.madison.sherwood.gerry www.backporchlabradoodles-jacque.blogspot.com www.backporchlabradoodles.com |

He seriously resembles our BANDIT...but, sigh, I can't figure out how to upload OR post a picture.
Bandit's 6 mos - 9/18/05- by the way
And don't forget the cover-photo of the LABRADOODLES calendar!

Oh my gosh! Maureen was reading my mind! Floyd's coat is much like Dakota's and I've always thought Dakota could look like the Labradoodle Calendar Cover Girl! Here she is:

2 questions: Does anyone know who collects the pics for the Brown Trout Calendars??
And can any of you give me a template for posting a picture right in a forum thread? I'd love to show Floyd his "twin" Bandit!
I know with the other format that it's <img src= ___(url of hosted pic)_______> but what do you all type in here to get the pictures to show up?

Maureen
This is the link for information on submitting a photo to browntrout.com. However, they only accept photos from professional photographers.
http://www.browntrout.com/media/html/comp/submissions.asp
To easily upload pictures here, upload your photos to photobucket.com and copy the third line of text under the photobucket photo that you want. Paste it to the text box on this site, for example, here's another look alike!

Maureen, Maureen, Maureen...
Thought I told you how to do this before:

Its UBB code not HTML tags.
Good luck. |

fuglyduck,
You can look at my website to see what her coat may turn into since I still can't seem to post here. For example the picture of Queenie eating the strawberry at 9-10 weeks vs. her 1 year birthday picture could give you a good indication of the possible adult coat of yours. Also, Pooh Bear and Nezzie had similar coats, but with a bit more curl. The shedding factor in my experience has more to do with texture of coat than curl or non-curl. The coarser the texture the higher the probablilty that shedding will occur. We haven't had any significant shedders other than a large, loose curly, coarse coated girl. According to her owners, after she hit the year old mark it slowed down and is barely noticeable with ocassional brushing and bathing which is necessary since she is a BIG lake swimmer.
Lee Ann
P.S. If you would like I can e-mail you a picture of Yarra that may a coat like your baby's. The calendar is a good indication in coat and color of yours too! Great idea to show that! _________________ Lee Ann Biesemeyer
