Wow!!! He is just soooo awesome. We picked him up at 2:00 today and had to take him to the groomers before taking him home. He is not shy at all, but there was a challenge getting him into the car. Once we got home he raced around the whole house and yard and checked out all his new toys …. What energy this pup has!! J The Hubby was thrilled to meet him. Of course it wasn’t the surprise I was hoping for. He was home before us but it was still fun to see them meet for the first time. It’s been a fun evening watching Midnight explore and play. He is very under weight but it doesn’t show with all that fluff hiding it. Very Happy Can’t wait to fatten him up!! We will work on getting pictures to show everyone ASAP. For now I need to find the thread on best food, chews, and brushes/combs. Thanks for all the “Welcomes” and “Congrats”
The new, proud Doodle Family

Oh, my gosh, Anne! He is even more beautiful than I thought (from his first picture!) Wowie! Congratulations!!! I am so thrilled for you and for Midnight!
I love his expression...and I am thrilled to hear how happy he was to go to your home...I'll bet you are in heaven!
Do check the archives because there is a ton of great info there...but don't hesitate to ask questions!
He is adorable!!!

He is absolutely precious! What a face! And look at those paws! He looks like he could be a big one! He's got that amazing look of gratitude on his face. Congratulations on finding such a special puppy.

He is 4 1/2 months old. As for his size.....I think he will be big but we can't guess the approximate adult size because he is soooo under weight. If we used the weight at 4.5 months x2+10 he would be 55 lbs and I just can't imagine those paws on that size of dog. And he is 22" tall at the shoulders. (not including the fluff Very Happy )
Does anyone have an idea as to how much he should weigh at that age and height? I figured he at least needs to have the ribs covered and breast bone not stick out so much but really no idea as to the actual weight.

Gunner is 4 1/2 months and weighs 37.5 pounds. I don't have any idea how tall he is, but I can pet the top of his head without bending over. He is going to be big! When is Midnight's b-day? There are a lot of pups on here the same age. It is always fun to compare notes.

Anne, Gunner's b-day is Oct. 24. Yes, I am a little concerned about his size. A lot of dog to love!

Awww! What a cutie. He looks like he's flirting with the camera. Congrats!
