Default Another question - re: fetch

Doc will play fetch a little bit, but he's not that interested in it like some dogs. He's almost seven months old. Do you think he could still develop a liking for it or are they usually born liking it or not? I find it frustrating that he doesn't really like it because I would like to be able to help him burn off his energy when he gets in those bored, sometimes destructive moods. I take him for one walk every day but would like to play with him other parts of the day instead of taking him for another walk. Any suggestions?

Good question...I don't know if playing fetch is a learned thing or a natural one. I think that they can learn to enjoy it as they grow older, but generally they are born to fetch...or not...
