Default Full Grown?

Can someone please tell me at what age a doodle is full grown?

Ours is 45lbs at 9 months.

I wasn't sure when she was going to stop growing!

Thanks

Gabrielle

Hi

Sadie is 11 months old and 51 pounds. Her size and weight have not changed for a couple of months now - so I think she is finished growing.

I'm wondering when to change to adult food.

I think that most of the doodles get their adult height between 7-12 months, but may still put a few pounds on...not much more though...my dogs were really at their adult size before their first birthdays...still, I have heard of others that continue to grow...I'd suggest that you check with your breeder.
The size of the parents should indicate what your dog will become...or at least give you some good idea about his genetic growth expectations.

Hmmm . . . at 10 months, Dakota just went through a growth spurt--he gained 4 pounds in 1 month . . .

Hi Jannie, at 11 mos. your doodle should be on adult food. I switch mine to adult food around 6 mos of age

my vet recommends 6 months for a doodle to go to adult food.

larger dogs even earlier and some dogs never eat puppy food.

I am feeding Sadie Nutro natural choice large breed puppy food. I just bought a large bag, so when she finishes this one I will switch to adult foodl
