I'm new here. Thinking about getting a first generation minature labradoodle (Lab dam / toy poodle sire) I know f1s should not be bred to other f1s and I have no intent of doing so. There are health checks for both parents going back two generations, but I have been hearing that there can be health issues due to the size difference between the parents. Does anyone have some examples or some experiences with cases in which the dogs of this breed were having health issues?

It could take after it's Golden/Lab parent and be large. It could have been bred to a small poodle and take after that parent.
