Default How big will my puppy be?

Hello,

I have an 8 month labradoodle and she is already about 34lbs. I was just wondering when she will stop growing.

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks!

height wise she should be pretty close to topping off at 1 yr..in Toby s case though he managed to grow another 1/2 between 1 and 2 yrs..he weighed close to 65 lbs at 1 yr..but, has managed to get up close to 90lbs now..

not knowing whether she s a standard or medium..it d be hard to guess..more likely a breeder will jump in and give you a better estimation..

I've heard (probably on this forum) that you can double their weight at four months and add 5-10 pounds to get an approximate adult weight.

That's what I've heard. They usually grow until they are about 1 years old (give or take a few months) and then fill out until they are around 2 year.

Each dog is different though and they can grow whenever their body feels like it. As of this morning, my Juneau weighs 62 lbs at 11 months and 3 days, but who knows what he'll weigh when he's 2!

Some people actually check the field performance background of the lines they are considering as thoroughly as they do the health clearances.

I think two years is the maximum age a Labradoodle will grow but it depends on the genes and breed of the dog. Genetics plays a large part in the growth and development of a dog.
