pet insurance

Hello,
I am wondering if any/many dog or cat owners are using pet insurance. We have 2 cats and will be getting a labradoodle in June 2007. Thanks for your help.

I hope this isn't being nosy, but if you had time to describe the plan you have, that would be very helpful. (i.e> - what is covered? is there a deductible? do you have to go to a certain vet?)
or any other factors you considered before buying your plan.
