Default The problem with Ethoxiquin *important*

This is a long letter written by a DVM.
It talks about the seriousness of Ethoxiquin, referred to as "E" in pet foods. BTW......."E" is also a preservative in human foods.
In the letter, some dog foods are mentioned that "E" is used as a preservative in MANY pet foods and has resulted in cancers and deaths.

the dog food companies still continue to put Ethoxiquin in its foods saying that in such low amounts it won t harm any animals..Ethoxiquin is also known Stop Scald, a pesticide

this stuff in small amounts can build up over time in the liver and kill..

That's why I will continue to use Chicken Soup.......they don't!
