Default Bear gets shaved!! NOOOO

Okay so I've been wanting to clip my pups hair for a while but he is deathly afraid of the buzzer so I've been waiting for some help. Well, my husband decided to take it upon himself to give it a try without even telling me. I wanted to shave his hair to half inch to an inch. Hubby couldn't get any hair off with the attachment on so he didn't use one. Check out my poor dog! I'm so mad and now embarassed to even take him out. Not sure there's anything I can do to fix it. Any ideas? I sure hope his hair grows fast!!

Here is my husbands response to you and your husband. ( I don't know yet WHY he wants to reespond but.........here ya go!)

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I woke up today feeling like I was pulled through a knot hole and nothing could make me laugh! What good is a dog if we can't humiliate him now and then? I'd just shave down his socks and hat and start over again. It's hair.....it'll grow out again. Nice try though.

Okay..that was Walt.
Now from me.
Bogart got cut the other day at the groomer. I had specific instructions on NOT to cut his head and legs. Well........they did.
SO! If we were to take YOUR doodle and my doodle and blend them, it would be PERFECT!
It's just hair and it'll grow, right?
BUT! I would be concerned about a sunburn.......so get yourself a cooling jacket and that will cover up most of his back!

Okay while this is NOT funny to you and YES i'd kill my hubby or give him a mohawk or maybe dye his hair purple

finish shavig him downand YES it is hair and will grow back. NOW if you live in an area that isn't too hot you can put a tee shirt on him OR just stand talland proud while walking him like nothing is different (that's how i'd be)

OH downthe line, you will end up laughing, one person on this site once brought a picture of my doodle's cut and somehow the groomer made her dog look like a NEW TACO BELL dog commercial. she ended up laughing so hard and know what? others here on this forum have had the same thing happen the 1st time they tried shaving their doodle.

So one day i am sure you'll get even with your hubby but for now it's still a doodle that needs lots of hugs and kisses and have you HIDE those clippers from your hubby

Ooh! Poor thing! lol. That first picture almost looks exactly like my Gatsby! He's 5 months now. What generation is Bear? I ask, because I got Gatsby from the shelter, and they couldn't tell me what parent was which, lol.

BTW, I got Gatsby groomed in July; his hair was pretty short. It got shaggy again within a couple of weeks. So, you might be ago.

I can only remember that scene in The Great Outdoors ,with John Candy, where the bear is shot in the butt and it has a huge bald *** after that. Really funny looking.

Our B recently had an OP.... the haircut is similar..

When we went to pick her up after surgery she looked at us as if to say "I wouldn't go to this groomers again, they're rubbish!!"

Haha! If so, I wouldn't let that groomer touch my Laby. Laby might have a nervous break down should he have that hair.lol! Poor groomer! JK!

i had horrible luck with Toby s first 2 cuts..first was a puppy cut that ended up looking like poodle..the second was nt much better after what
i thought were pretty good instructions..

that was more than 2 yrs ago and i have nt returned to ANY groomer..
when it comes to trimming Toby s coat..it usually takes 3 days, 1-1 1/2 hrs each day..
