Default EXCELLENT new info on dog nutrition...recommended read!

This is an updated, comprehensive, study about canine nutrition. It is a valuable resource. If you are wondering about how to feed/supplement a breeding dog, a puppy or an overweight dog...the answers are here...and if you want to know what to feed, and in what amounts, for normal weight dogs...it is here. I highly recommend this article!

research has shown that inferior grades of meat are used to produce today s dog foods..both dry and wet..it gets to a point where nothing cept the T-bone on my plate is safe..*providing its prepared properly.

adding preservatives, coloring, flavoring only adds to the confusion just what is best for our dogs..

i know that Toby is eating better than me..everyday, as much as i try im downing what you might consider garbage..coffee, soft drinks, donuts, chips and those nasty hot links..yet we d never consider feeding our dogs this stuff..

the only reason im now cooking part of Toby s food is cuz its more appealing to him as well as being cheaper..

there s no doubt if we re considering diet as the main criteria for dog life longivity..on this site anyway..most of our doodles would out live us in human years..
