Default Say hello to my first dog

This is Taj at the beach. He is 5 months old and I have had him for 2 weeks now. He is pretty much potty trained (hasnt done anything inside in like 5 days, knock on wood). He is very polite and loves to play. He cant stand not being by my side though but I guess thats a good thing

Yeah. I honestly did not know all dogs could swim but man did this little guy amaze me. He followed and doggy paddled very well.
I have some more pics on my camera and I will post them later. Maybe you guys can give me some insight on how he might look older. Right now most of his hair is short and straight. Only long hairs are around his nose and eyes. Should be interesting to watch. Great dog so far!

I'll bet the water makes sense to him! Poodles and Labs are both water retreivers! Darling, and I'm impressed with his boldness in the water at such a tender age! Congratulations of choosing a good one.

He is beautiful. I love the brown nose! My cream doodle has a black nose.

Wow!! Taj is almost the spitting image of my rosy-nosed boy! And they both love water! This is Dakota at 9 months. He is cream colored like Taj and wire-haired (so far)! He is 60 pounds--with probably another 10 to go--and he stands 24" at the shoulder.

I wouldn't be concerned about the pads on his feet unless they get worse or don't look better in a few days. Sounds like he just was on some rough surfaces. Try to keep him from irritating them more until they heal.
