Okay,. this the second time I have written this, tried to attach a picture and it all went blank, so will use photoshop this time around:
Warning: this is the gushy stuff part if you only want the facts skip to the next paragraph. Touching Mandy is like touching a cloud, she is so soft and cuddly. I could hold her all the time, but am trying to instill good habits and this will be difficult. (Like letting her sleep now and not keep holding her) She is so cute, sweet, calm, friendly, loving, and smart!! I love her so much. When Maureen was here and we were in the kitchen she saw Dave laying on the floor and playing with Mandy, it was so cute. He is already nuts over her too. Actually he left to go and buy her a water bottle for her carrier (the snow storm slowed down my last minute shopping spree this last weekend). She is so precious and the best little puppy in the world. I am so much in love with that girl!! Mandy and Maureen arrived early by a few minutes so they were already there when I got there. Knew it was Maureen because she was holding Mandy!! Mandy snuggled up to me when I held her and when we got to the car she wagged her tail and LICKED my hand, big AHHHH moment there!! When the 3 of us got to my house, I let Cookie out for a meet and great and that went well. (Actually Cookie is asleep now from all the excitement). Maureen and I took care of the paperwork and looked at all the cool stuff she brought with her. She gave Cookie a little treat, one of the chew bones she brought. Well, Cookie was gone for a long time in another room working on that chew bone. We went outside in the back, and Mandy had her first potty break Me and Mandy and Maureen Me and Mandy ![]() Mandy and Cookie ![]() Maureen and Mandy (good bye time ![]() Mandy ![]() Mandy ![]() Mandy and Cookie ![]() Be glad there are only 7, I downloaded 20 hahahahaha

Oh, I forgot about Missy, the cat. (declawed because she scratched Cookie's eye once
Kathy, reading "forever home" brought tears to my eyes, yes, she is at her forever home and that sure feels wonderful. I wish everyone could see how good she is (okay I know we are in the honeymoon phase and one day she may do something wrong, but not TODAY!)

congrats! She is just darling and I know how happy you are, I have had Beck for almost a month now and I still can't get over how cute and sweet he is, I hug him about 20 times a day and tell him that he is the best, most beautiful puppy ever!

And this feeling will never go away...I've just collected Charlie from his first 'stay the night' at boarding kennels (practice for Easter when he'll be there for a week

Well, I'll admit...I was looking at the old posts for this announcement! I should have known that it would rate a whole new post!
MANDY IS HOME!!! Cindy and Dave...and Cookie and Missy...I am so happy for you all! And I am especially happy for Mandy to be in such a loving home and for Maureen for placing her baby with the best parents! All of this new puppy placement has been so wonderful...seeing how Todd and Maureen carefully placed their loving babies into the perfect homes...and now to get updates on the success...well, it is wonderful! Mandy is getting prettier every day, if that is possible! She and Beck look like they could be siblings! How great to meet Maureen and to have Mandy delivered by her! This is just an all around perfect thing! Linda, Mandy is an F1B. Happy times ahead! I am looking forward to watching Mandy and Beck grow up! |

Her mom, Truffle is an f3, and her dad, Keenan is an f1. The rule of breeding hybrids is that you only progress one generation from the lower gen. parent, so that makes Mandy an f2. However some have called this kind of litter "multigen" --- but I think they are just after some illusion of "status" at the multigen label. Seriously, I am planning on breeding my f1b male to a new f1b female and I don't think I'll raise the price because of the puppies being f3....yet "multigen" would legitimately fit as a label at f3, right? or no? |

I agree with your genetics:
F3 x F1 = F2 (up one from the lowest) And F1b x F1b is F3. This is a little more complicated because the F1b is being called "Second generation" labradoodle here even though a poodle is one parent. They allow you to add poodle here and there and proceed up in generation. How nice. Do you have any experience with the F3xF1 puppies? How is their coat compared to an F1b litter, since they both have an F1 parent? Sorry to hijack? But I gotta ask.... |

Todd, Since I don't a thing about coats, I can tell you though that Mandy's coat is very soft, her tail is a little coarser but then I would imagine it would be. She has a slight wave to it, not real curly not straight. When I pet her no hair comes off and I am wearing a dark shirt today and she has been up on me and no hair on the shirt. I will say she is the absolute sweetest puppy I have ever seen and does not get riled up about anything. Dave said she is a really good one!! She catches on very quickly even at this young age. She has some big feet to fill, hahaha Maureen did say she would probably lighten some when she is out in the sun more this summer. Dave and I are very curious on how she will look when she is grown up and in her adult coat. And "hijack" all you want, I am constantly learning things from everyone's posts. I did think she was an F2, since mom is an F3 and dad is an F1, but didn't want to say since I am still learning all this stuff, a lot to learn.
And no potty accidents and it has been over 24 hours she has been here!!!!!!!!
