I know what you mean Jacque! My Ruby (my avatar dog) will sometimes just stand next to me and stare at me like she is trying to convey something telepathically . So I just say "what?!" and then she'll go to the door, or her dish, or pick up her frisbee....whatever it is that she wants. It can also be a little unnerving....LOL
