Default Looking to breed our MALE STANDARD POODLE

Really red standard male, Rexie, is gorgeous. Beautiful temperament, the perfect boy! 2 years old. Never been bred so far. Loves other dogs and is so friendly. all the neighborhood kids come to play with him. He has a companion, our 15 year old female black standard whom we have bred twice, many years ago, and he truly loves her, but we are truthfully looking for a Labradoodle puppy from Rexie. We have had many Standards and Rexie is just the sweetest, most loving one we have ever had. Our 4 kids adore him. If I could find the cord, I would post a picture, but by the time you respond back to us, we will have found it!!! Rexie is a fullbred AKC standard with both parents being red, also. He weighs about 50 pounds, on the lean and athletic side, and is just SWEET! Great temperament. He is in love with Molly the Labradoodle down the street, but she has been fixed! Good reference available from our son, a Penn Vet student!

Contact Carol or Sylvan, Miami, FL. thru PM

Hello Carol and Sylvan, welcome to our forum!
Your Poodle sounds wonderful! I have a chocolate standard Poodle and we love him to pieces!
Have you completed testing on Rexie? If not, that would be your first important step. Once you have him tested, I am certain that he will be in high demand in the Doodle world, Doodle breeders are always looking for red Poodles!
In fact, I have a beautiful Goldendoodle that I might consider Rexie for.
If he doesn't get the testing completed, you would likely only find back yard breeders who would be interested, and that would not be a good way to select a mate because the pups would be subject to a host of potential genetic diseases or afflictions.
I would be very happy to talk to you more about this and to mentor you if you would like. Please feel free to send a PM to me with any questions you have...look under my photo and you will see a PM button...that allows you to send private messages.
Also, I encourage you to search the archive of this forum because there are some great topics that can give you guideance and direction, and answer questions about testing.
I am glad that you joined us...I'd love to see a picture of Rexie!
