Thanks for the link, Tink...I found it very interesting to see some of what you breeders can do in testing. How reliable is this Biotech? To this inexperienced eye, that dog looked nothing like a border collie

Made me question how reliable the breed testing is. Of course they don't have DNA figured out for all the various breeds yet either which I imagine comes into play.

Oh, I think that if people ran DNA testing on all dogs they would be amazed...I saw this on a news program when the news cast crew tested their dogs...one guy had a Goldendoodle...the test came back saying that the dog had NO Golden Retirever! Well, is sure did look like a Goldendoodle to me...so I question these tests...plus, when we DNA test, we send in the swab AND hair samples with the DNA folicles...I wonder about this test...
