you could try a coat conditioner with natural oil s in it..but, try a Omega
supplement or fish oil..

as for that patch..without seeing up close..it could be like my Toby s..

he has a couple natural crease s that run across his back...one at the neck and another across the shoulders..when his coat get s longer its barely noticeable..

lindamarie will know what i mean..its like when you take the service vest off and the coat is matted down and you ve got to brush it back out..
