So Milo (so far, fingers crossed) continues to be an easy going, happy pup! He does mouth us, and we are hearing different opinions (are there as many theories on puppy raising as puppies in the world?) Some say let him mouth you to learn bite inhibition, others say touching with teeth is an absolute no, and we are a bit confused. He had his second set of shots, and the vet said to take him on walks on the sidewalk, and not to get too stressed about not taking him out, as we live in such an urban area, most dogs are up to date on shots and he should be ok.
He is 10 weeks old now, weighs probably about 10 to 11 pounds, and has had one glorious playdate with a friend's French bulldog. I had no ideas puppies chewed on each other quite so much, and with no offense taken!
We meet a trainer next week, and start puppy kindergarten in September, but he has learned sit and off. We are hand feeding him his kibble for now, and he has learned to leave the kibble alone till we say Take it!
Not too enthusiastic about walks, sits on his rump and looks forlorn until we coax him a few feet with a treat, and then again a sit-down
