I don't think that black doodles get hot any faster then other colors. My Lilha dose better then her sister in the heat. Her sister is very very light yellow. I live in houston it is HOT!!! We have a dog door. I live on 25 acres. I would say Lilha spends at least half the day outside running around. All my dogs have free run of the hole property and come in and out of the house as they please.
