Hello everyone,

I have been reading this forum since Christmas. We lost our much loved yellow lab in November and I was inconsolable. I loved him like I gave birth to him and it still hurts everyday.

BUT,

On May 8 we brought home a 7 week old F1b Labradoodle pup we've named Griffin. The first week was hard because of all the reminders of my labs' baby days - but now I am so in love with this baby. He is a handful, smart, and very engaged with everyone in the family. I can tell he is going to be the best dog ever.

I have learned a lot from reading the posts here. Since this is our first labradoodle, I look forward to all that you have to teach and share with us!
