There is a rescue group in desperate need of foster homes in Iowa. Please check out their website and contact them if you can help.

I thought you'd all be interested in seeing the doodle that was rescued. He is in a foster home and will probably be getting a haircut real soon!

OMG... that's awful!
I've never seen a worse mess of a dogs coat! That has to feel miserable! Poor baby!

What part of Iowa are they in? I'm only a couple hrs from Iowa myself and might know some people who would help if I asked.

Tink, the rescue group is in Panora. I'm not sure where the foster home is.

Buddy is quite a mess, eh? Maybe they'll send me more pics as he gets cleaned up.

Well drat... that's almost 6 hrs away from me and the people I had in mind.
Well if push comes to shove and they'd be willing to foster dogs that far away please let me know. I have some wonderful dog-loving friends.

It's amazing....with that horrible, probably painful mess of matts....I think he's actually smiling! Must know that good things are coming his way! What a beautiful face! Keep us updated.

That really just breaks my heart.

How could anyone be so abusive and neglect such a defenseless soul?

talk about dreadlocks!! OMG how could anyone let a dog need so much attention and love!!!
BUT a SWEET DEMEANOR shines through in that picture.......i'd say as soon as that doodle is groomed, given a little TLC
and bit of food , that doodle will be rescued asap by someone.

keep us posted please

I am just now reading this...any news on the fate of this beaufiful baby? I feel sooooo sad...I hope that you have heard something...something good.

I did a search for Panora and their adoptions are listed on PetFinder, but I didn't see a Doodle...I hope that this means the dog has a home...dare I hope that?
