LD in NC craigslist-Leila pics and vet visit update

Hi All:

I found this dog on craigslist. They have it listed as an Airdale but looks like a LD to me. I contacted IDOG. Hopefully I will hear from them soon. I don't want anything to happen to this baby.

I did contact shannon. They are working with me to find this lil lady a home. I just couldn't foster cause I couldn't afford the kennel costs when I travel for work but we have that worked out. So I am fostering for now.

They haven't really met to play. Leila hasn't been to the vet yet so I don't want to expose them to her too much until she gets a clean bill of health. I did take My and Say out to Leila while Leila was in her crate and they didn't really react so that's good.

Leila is doing well. She is very friendly. She will let me touch her and look her over which I did today. She prob has and respiratory infection so she is staying in the garage until we go to the vet and find out what is wrong. Good thing I live in NC and it is warm here!!! (We got her a space heater for night time). She played a little today and she loves treats!!! She still hasn't met the girls yet. Once we go to the vet and the vet says it's ok for her to be with the other dogs the real fun will begin. And now for the pics.....

And of course My and Say

She is a very interesting color combo. Her body is black with white hairs running through it. She has the white spot on her chest and her muzzle is a chocolate brown. Very cute baby.

Thanks for the update and the pictures! I still giggle every time I see Sadie's ears.....she is so cute. And Maya.....you are such a lovely girl!! But I'm sure you know that!

OMG Heather...she is a little sweetheart!!! And she certainly looks healthy...keeping my fingers crossed that she is when she goes to the vets..and like you said, it'll be nothing but fun and games for Maya and Sadie!!!! Who by the way are cute as ever!!! Thanks for the pics, and you are to be commended for fostering her!!!
