Beautiful girl needing a home(update)

I got an email from Lynda at IDOG about this sweet girl. They may have some one to get her out of a bad situation, but she will need a forever home. If needed, I told her I would foster til a forever home can be found. I'll keep you all posted.

She will do so well at your house!
I hope that you are able to condition her to be okay with male dogs...with Rumor and Jonah, she should learn to adjust...and that may help to find her a good home.

That was a concern I raised with Lynda. Rumor is one not to back down from confrontation. She (Lynda) believes that neutering will also help. I told her I'd contact my vet to see if he would work a deal with me seeing she's a foster.

And Sue......her name is "Not Mine"........

Man Gene, you work too quickly! I'm not sure I'm ready for another yet. Get her loving boy dogs and I might have to be. If you do end up fostering her let me know so I can come meet her at least. She does look awesome and I would love another doodle... I was figuring I'd wait til next summer, but...

Gene, do you know any specifics? Age, weight, why she is homeless?

I hope you can foster as Jaq is probably right that it will help her get adopted sooner if she can get over her male dog issue.

But, seriously, I think it sounds like her name is gonna be "Genie"

Latest update (subject to change). She is going to be spayed and returned to the shelter til they can find her transport to me. I will get to put my grooming skills to the test since she is in desperate need of grooming. I'm waiting to here from Lynda at IDOG to set up a time, etc. Guess I need to go purchase a new kennel.......

I would have to start taking a collection to feed us all!! I guess there have been some applications for her already....she needs to be evaluated and groomed after her spaying. Right now there's a post I started on the zoo and we're looking for a volunteer to transport her to me. Anyone near Mansfield that would like to come visit??
