How do you end up for adoption at 4 or 5 mths of age?
I am having a hard time understanding how people are giving up puppies at such a young age.
I'm hoping they are just left over from a litter and not that an owner is already tired of them.
I look at my two sleeping nearby and just want to go and give them a big hug.
Here's hoping that they find a forever home soon.

See, this is when I start to understand why some people get so worked up when I tell them I'm BUYING a labradoodle. I can't imagine why so many people spend all kinds of money on one, then just give it up for adoption.
I soooooooooo wish I lived anywhere near one of those shelters! I tried finding doodles on petfinder, but couldn't find any within driving distance. They're too cute!

We would have gladly gotten ours from a shelter, but my DH has allergies. We could not take the chance. And, we have a daughter who is afraid of dogs so we needed one we knew for sure had been socialized around kids.

But I would have no hesitation getting from a shelter or from IDOG if we ever got another when the kids are older.

Default doodles

I've emailed about the petfinder doodles to see if they adopt out of state. They have some beautiful ones there...and they need homes.
