doodle for service?

hi,
i found a trainer who is willing to help train a pup as a service dog for for an extremely generous. now all i've got to do is find the perfect doodle! can anyone help?
i'm 22 and paralyzed from the neck down due to a car accident almost 3 years ago. i live in the san francisco bay area and am in need of a pup with the right temperament and isn't afraid of my wheelchair. does anyone know of a doodle that might fit the part? or a breeder who's not charging over $2000...? i understand there is no price that can be put on a true companion, but $2000 is just beyond my means..
