Massachusetts Labradoodle Seeks New Home
An elderly friend can no longer take care of his wonderful Labradoodle -- Durgin is a neutered male, 6 years old. He's friendly, good with other dogs and kids, obedient, and very devoted to his person. Loves to snuggle. He's lived most of his life on a farm with horses. He's about the size of a Golden Lab.
His owner is 90 years old and is in the hospital, so we need to find a good home for the dog.
He does have Addison's disease, as so many Labradoodles do -- he needs monthly shots and a half-tab of Prednisone every day, but otherwise is just fine. (Some arrangement could be made for help with the costs associated with his medical needs.)
He's an incredibly sweet dog. If we can't place him, his owner has said that he will put him down, which would be very sad. Durgin has many good years ahead of him.
He's in eastern Massachusetts, near the North Shore of Boston.
