I have a 3 year old pup in Elkhorn, WI in need of a new loving family. The poor guy just lost his mommy, she died after being diagnosed with cancer 3 weeks earlier. Dad is distraught and both he and mom traveled almost 100% with their pooch but dad is having such a hard time with the loss and he can not care for his best pal alone. Their adult kids all work full time and he wants a family who has someone who can give him their all. Unfortunately this guy sheds (he is from LM Deni and Chicago Hershey Bar Kid...and is 100% Australian but got the throw back gene); he looks like a chocolate lab. He also was attacked by a pack of dogs a few years ago and had surgery on his rear leg and takes a med that is about $15.00 a month (no biggie). He loves kids, loves to travel, loves camping and hiking, was trained to an invisible fence but doesn't need it.
His dad would like someone in the area so that he does not have to drive him far. Email me for pictures Dad does not want any money for him~

Kendra,
Has the owner contacted Doodle Rescue Collective??? We have good applicants in WI and MI awaiting the right dog to come along. Many applicants would love a good doodle regardless of how labby he looks and how much he sheds!! Unfortunately, over the past weekend, the Doodle Rescue Collective site was sabotagued and is now offline. You can also directly reach me at : lizsyring@comcast.net Thanks to all who are helping rescue homeless doodles!! Liz Syring Vice-President Doodle Rescue Collective

Oh how SAD!!
I'm not far from Wisconsin......well way over Lake Michigan........but wish I could make the trip for a neighbor who would love him! I'm not in this poor man's shoes so I shouldn't even comment.........but in time.......this guy may really miss this loving dog. It's a bond he and his wife had and he probably doesn't even realize that. So sad.
