Default Re: Poor Beck

He's doing well, he is such a good boy, he just stands perfectly still and lets me clean his incision and bandage it, he reminds me of my poor old Chessie, he had sores on his legs from his diabetes and he would stand there so patiently, exactly the same way, while I cleaned and bandaged him. I knew it had to hurt like hell, but there's something so special about a dog that will stand there and endure pain..somehow they must know you are trying to help them. Of course Murphy is making this tough, he does kamikaze runs at Beck and grabs hold of his shirt and tries to pull it off of him /sigh. If all goes well, we will be back to some semblance of normality in 5 days or so. Keeping Beck and Murphy from roughhousing without confining one of them is doable, but not always easy. If they start to wrestle, I tell them 'play easy' and one will go get a toy and they will play tug with it.
