The most interesting thing I learned in the class wasn't about trining Aero at all. The instructer shows/trians her own St. Bernards and she says she purposefully doesnt teach her dogs "sit" and doesnt allow anyone to praise/pet them if they do, because in the show ring you dont want that behaviour when stopped and being evaulated by the judge. Interesting.

lol, that's very true about not wanting dogs to sit in the show ring, but I briefly showed one of my boxers and taught him to stand on command, so the minute he started to sit, I would give him a hand signal for stand and he would stand back up.
