Can't believe I missed this one....poor guy!!!!

I'm siding with you guys...FURIOUS!!!!! #1 - in my opinion, total fault is on the shelter for putting 2 dogs with unknown pasts and personalities next to each other and not properly seperated. I understand some shelters have limited resources - but COME ON - a piece of secured chainlink seperating the 2 dogs would've done more good than "heavy canvas". And #2 - what kind-of vet office just drops off an abandoned animal at a kill shelter? The vets office could've probably found this guy a home within a couple of day by word-of-mouth with its customers. #3 SHAME on the "rescue" organization requiring $1,200 before someone can adopt Wilson. I understand rescue organizations who ask for additional donations to recover some of the extremely high vet expense....but REQUIRING that high of a fee....why not ask the vet to donate the cost of the service to the rescue organization...that way the vet could use the donation as a charitable donation on next year's taxes? Or doing local community fundraisers?

And finally - shame on that owner who dumped Wilson...how horrible. UGH --any updates on this guy?
