This is a very sad situation. DRC offered to help with this dog, and then the "rescue" owner made known her asking price. We told her that she is asking a totally unrealistic price for a rescued doodle. She again eluded to the "going price" of breeder dogs and said this boy guy is a "bargain". She is not rescuing this dog, she is SELLING him. It reminds me of purchasing a handydman special home and then flipping it for a bargain!!!
Dogs are not a commodity you can purchase and sell to turn a profit, that is what the puppymillers do!!!!
Petfinders won't even consider a listing a rescue if they have rehoming fees more than $500.

Sadly, there's a lot of greedy people in this world.
