Logically they would, but in reality, the percentage dosen't always turn out to be 25% and 75%...as we all have seen, F1B puppies can look very Poodly, very Labby or something, very cute, in between!
Sort of like saying that our children are 50/50 ... half of each parent...but in reality, those genetic mixes crop up from the grand parents, aunts, cousins and sometimes we start wanting to see the mailman!
The most honest breeder, of early generation dogs, will say that we just wait and see! Honestly, using the exact same parents have presented me with sometimes quite diverse puppy traits. But that is the fun of this business!
