I have not used Karbo Essentials with a female in heat and early pregnancy so I can't speak to that, I think we should contact the company and ask...the breeders on the several breeder forums that I read swear by it as a way to keep their litters healthy. Those who use it say that they NEVER get parasites! Good enough for me to try it.
