Re: How to pick out a puppy?
I totally AGREE temperament testing is barely an indicator!!
spending day in day out for 8 weeks with a litter of puppies well it's like being with kids in classroom day in day out
you get to know them quite well.
THUS a breeder can really TREMENDOUSLY help a family to pick a best fit but also beign HONEST with a breeder to your likes/dislikes
and type of lifestyle and your own personalities can help.
AND i still say many times when the day comes ............i've seen more than once a puppy PICK the family out and not the other way around.
THIS is also where a breeder is a great guidance!!!
puppies peronalities change from 4 to say 8 weeks old......breeder hold them, love and train them and see how changes occur
as littermates play and mature.
