I have a brother that took tons of pictures in raw when they went on a cruise to Europe. He said he wished he had not done that because it takes so much time to edit and he likes the pictures he takes using just the regular settings just as well. So if you have tons of pictures and don't have a lot of time to edit would you really want to do raw? I really am trying to figure this out. My camera won't allow raw but we are thinking of getting another camera with lenses (maybe next year?). Thanks Todd for posting this I am learning so much. Seazr is raw something a simple minded person like me can do or do you have to be in the smart class?
