Hi Val,
I am not from there, but you might want to ask your vet and the office staff there. Usually people with businesses like that advertise through the vet offices and most often they know of them and can give you info about them.
Call a few and ask for references, go and visit...take your dog in for a day visit and see how he likes it...and just drop in on them a few times to check it out, unannounced...
Good luck...sorry that your caretaker is hurt...maybe she knows of someone? What about asking at your local market or church or school...you know, just ask around...maybe you can find someone to come and stay at your home with him...good luck!
