Bootless!!!!
I actually drove myself to work today!! --Never thought that would be a cause for celebration!! I have a final Drs appt tomorrow and I don't care what he says--I'm DONE with splints, casts and boots!!!!! Immediatly after my Dr appt, we're headed for the lake house for TWO weeks--longest I've EVER been able to stay there! All of our friends are coming up for the 4th --including Janet (with the terminal cancer
 ), so we should all have a great time. Our DS is coming with Sparky and he is bringing his friend and his dog, so we will have a housefull and Dakota will have a new experience--not the only child for awhile!!!! AND, Dakota (and depending on when the other two dogs get there) will be in the 4th of July parade, so look forward to real silly pics!!! We're going to stain our house which is a HUGE job!!! It's 26' high with LOTS of windows. It will be hard work but we have a great crew put together and we'll make sure it's also a lot of fun!!!! TOO MANY WINDOWS!!!!! (Oh, I plan to finally get that sailboat out too!! What what kind of sailor Dakota will make???)  ARRRRRF, Captain!!!

Diane! Sounds like a GREAT time!!! Nice house and sailboat! Will we have pictures when you get back??
