I DID IT!!!!

Well, I fired my boss today, and gave him my notice! He was pretty stunned, but managed to be nice about it (surprisingly!) I drove down to his office at Edisto Island, and told him in person. I think he appreciated that, because he has literally had associates pull up stakes and leave in the middle of the night!

I'm going to stick around until early August, getting my files closed, and perhaps breaking in the new associate who will probably come from one of the other offices. What a relief! Now I can look forward to teaching again, and spending more time with Tyke!!!

Yeah!! Life is far too short to waste time doing things we dislike 40 hours a week. I'm glad you were able to find a way to do this for yourself.
