this article is different than one posted about 6 to 8 weeks ago,

all i know is we didnt' realize that during the time Max was on Nutro the bag had expired. he lost 9lbs, did vomit at times, had severe diarrhea, his eyes went blood red, his hair started falling out in clumps and the list went on.

we had him tested for everything!! antibiotics did NOTHING
every time i had him on customized bland diet and would introduce any other dog food ,...his intestinal tract went haywire

needless to say even 2 different vet offices said the same thing: something had to be up with NUTRO but we couldn't prove it

at that point i could care less.........i got Max back to health via 4mos of customized diet with supplements
and then on canidae which took a long time.

needless to say, i learned alot about digestion last year and really read ingredients along with WHERE the food is made

How scary! Thanks for the update - it seems we can never be too careful with our doodle babies!

That is sickening. Is there any safe dog food out there really (besides raw)?

Heather...i refused to give Max the precription diet last year

I felt HOMEMADE CUSTOMIZED DIET was safest! next to raw
