Default Spring flowers

Some quick pics from the yard.....sorry, no doodles...

Mock orange bush that's making a recovery from Miko pruning....

My dianthus annuals that have come up on their own for 4 years now...

I bought a bunch more this year in different colors....think I'll get lucky again? Once they fill out, I'll post some more pics.

Thanks for looking!

Those are gorgeous Gene! I have 4 yr. old dianthus too, but mine don't go through as harsh a winter as yours. They just get cooked to death in the summer! LOL

I LOVE your mock orange pics....never seen one before, hardy I take it?
I don't have alot of time for gardening this time of year, & we have harsh winters, so I have loaded my yard up with hardy perennials and this time of year it's more about thinning than planting!
I was really surprised at all that came up this year after my litter of 11 pups "redecorated" my gardens! Actually they kind of helped....by thinning it ahead of time in spots!

Wow now I'm really impatient for mine to start blooming! Mine are coming up nicely, but not much blooming yet here.

No worries Samantha....I love flowers. I planted a bunch of marigolds also, waiting for them to fill out a bit. When I bought my new camera, my cousin told me I'd better take pictures of something besides the doods with it....so, I do the flowers.

Great looking flowers Gene. Nice job. I look forward to my lilies coming out. Up here in the north country, we have to wait a little longer. My peonies are blooming but they have taken a beating in all the storms we have had over the last couple of weeks. Not sure they are going to be anything special this year.
