Yes.... something DID disappear.... A little blonde (with chestnut roots) friend of mine helped me get it off before I got in trouble.....

Well call me Annmarie!! I've spent the last 2 days without hot water. I called the plumber yesterday and he just left. Seems when I was looking for water shutoff valves......I turned off the gas to the hot water heater, so the pilot went out! DUH!! Talk about a blond moment!! I'm very glad I purchased the 3 year service contract........

Good ... the service contract ... was going to mention it. I call it our "Frequent Plumber Card"! And having it will make you a priority customer!

Now that you've tacked plumbing and saw how much fun it is, please stay away from electric!

Well, I am very late to this party!
Gene...you are a dear soul...very much like my husband...and I must say that, like my husband, you probably should NEVER be allowed around tools. (Or cement mixers, or post hole diggers...or...)
Boy, you have really been taken through the ringer on this one!
On the bright side, you will have one fine kitchen when itis all said and done (and paid for!)
