it was about 9pm..when i heard on the tv that they had gotten Bin Laden..and rush upstairs to get her..
some of us had friends and family members lost on 9/11..she had even been on one of the twin towers a month befor..and it was just crazy, shocking when she heard of of the attacks and so much joy when she heard they had got Bin Laden out of bed early.. |

I was at the Twin Towers 2 weeks before standing at the Windows to the World Cafe (I think that's what it was called) having a cocktail with my son and his friend.
Something strange happened. This little girl came up next to us with her mother. She looked at her mom and said, "Mommy, people who come up here should have parachutes." Can you imagine if they had thought of that? Sure, people would have been scared to use them, and God knows where they would have landed (hopefully in the Hudson River)........but a parachute may have saved a lot of lives.
